St. John's Lutheran Church participates in God's mission to bless, save, restore, and reconcile the world through meaningful worship and faithful witness in the city of Des Moines and throughout the world.

Worship & Music Ministry

The Worship Ministry Team includes representatives from all the worship leadership groups – musicians, ushers, sound technicians, altar guild, clergy, etc. This team studies the theology of Christian worship and works to support the liturgical, musical and welcoming worship life of St. John’s.
