St. John's Lutheran Church participates in God's mission to bless, save, restore, and reconcile the world through meaningful worship and faithful witness in the city of Des Moines and throughout the world.

KIDZ@SJLC and Joyful noise

These two programs are offered for children ages three through 2nd grade. These programs meet from 6:30-7:30 following the Beloved Community meal on Wednesday evenings. Joyful noise, kindergarten through second grade, meets in room 7. KIDZ@SJLC, preschool age children, start in room 5 and move to join Joyful noise in room 7 to end the night.

During this time we make connections to worship, education, and our church year to help learners link faith to their daily lives through music, stories, movement, crafts, and games. This year we will be continuing our use of the much-loved Godly Play curriculum during the last half hour of our time together!
