1:00 pm: Orientation, Welcoming Prayer, and Meditation Experience led by a Prairiewoods Spiritual Director
3:00 pm: TaiChi Class led by Prairewoods team member
4:00 pm: Check in and free time
Weather permitting: Walking the Grounds, Walking the Labyrinth, Visiting Grandmother Oak; Social Time in the Guest House Lounge; or Prescheduled with Prairiewoods: Individual session by Prairiewoods practitioners who offer massage, healing touch, or reflexology (additional cost)
5:30 pm: Dinner
6:30 pm: Singing Bowls led by Prairewoods team member
7:30 pm: Closing Evening Prayer and any Housekeeping Comments

Together - Fall Retreat
When: Friday, October 17 - Saturday, October 18, 2025
Where: Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center, 120 E Boyson Rd, Hiawatha, IA 52233
The Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center is a sacred space for people of all faiths and cultures, focused on the intersection of ecology, spirituality and holistic health to help you enhance your relationships with your God, the world around you, yourself and your fellow humans.
Prairiewoods has been a popular destination for WIRED in the past. It has been several years since we have visited but are planning to return this fall. A deposit of $50 is due at sign-up. Full payment will be required by September 28.
A minimum of 10 participants will be required and space is limited to 25 participants.
Non-church members (female friends and family) are welcome.
Individual registration fees for the retreat are estimated at between $170 to $215.
This covers the retreat programs & activities, sleeping room, and four (4) meals. Individual costs will be based on the estimated number of participants and your choice of sleeping room. You are encouraged to share a sleeping room as there are a limited number of rooms.
Actual Registration costs will be confirmed closer to the event.
Please make your $50 deposit online or at church on August 2, 3, 10, 17, 23, 24, and September 7.
