Boundary Waters 2025
We are looking forward to returning to the Boundary Waters this summer between July 25 and August 1st. When first went on the trip three years ago I recall it being a wonderful respite from technology and the rush of life. I would highly recommend that anyone who wants to see nature from a different side should come! I had anticipated needing to paddle all day long and this was not the case, in fact we often would get to our destination and then enjoy the scenery. Below are some important dates for you to note as you plan on attending this trip.
Tentative numbers due to Donovan or Ann by December 20th!
We need to know how many groups we will need to reserve. We currently have two adults going from church and a group for the Boundary Waters is 9 people that includes the guide that the camp will provide. This means that if we have 6 other individuals going, we will have only one group. If we have between 7 and 14 other individuals going, we will have two groups. Deposit of $100 for each individual going will be due by January 12th.
The remaining amount due is $325 per participant will be due this spring, at this time, the specific date is TBD.
Our timeline for the trip will be:
Leave from St. John's on the morning of 7/25
Stay the night in Duluth MN at a church.
7/26 leave for Wapo Camp in the Boundary Waters area
7/27 depart into the Boundary Waters
7/31 Arrive back to civilization at the Wapo Camp
8/1 Depart for Des Moines and arrive back in the evening
Please note this is a $100 DEPOSIT.
The additional $325 will be due at a later date this Spring.
